Dive In

A new selection of images from DIVE IN ,  our ceramic and glass wall installation .

“Dive in” is a  light wall installation where glass bubbles run across the wall mimicking the way bubbles underwater rise the surface of the sea. The glass bubbles are filled with ceramic forms that emulate forms and textures of underwater creature. This installation comes bespoke so that clients can commission it to their own specifications.

Vezzini & Chen are proud to announce they won The Design Trust Award at MADE London during the weekend.

The show was a great opportunity to meet amazing makers and people who loved our work .

Inspired by the structure and geometry of natural forms, Vezzini & Chen handmade lighting and glassware express their affinity with nature by encapsulating forms creates in fine bone china and glass from which light is directed and diffused . For MADE London , Vezzini & Chen will be presenting their latest collection for work characterised by an intense use of cuts and textures on both glass and ceramics, to create layered pattern similar to a natural scenery.

A new collection of Ceramics and Glass candleholder will be launched at MADE.

Hexa, meaning to combine form, is a set of tumbler like vases with unique characteristics. They’ve used a cut and texture technique to create similar patterns to natural scenery. What I like about this is the juxtaposition between the elaborate and decorative foot, to the simplicity and quiet form of the top glass body. You can see from the close-up shot below just how much effort and time has gone in to making these fantastic pieces. This duo are very exciting and I can’t wait to see what else they have to offer in the near future. Enjoy.”

Close Up was shortlisted to be exhibit at the International Triennial of Silicate Arts.

 4th International Triennial of Silicate Arts opens its door on August 3rd, 2014 at 11 am in Kecskemét, Hungary when The prize awards of the competition will be presented.
