Why is my embroidery hoop so loose?
When the inner and outer rings of an embroidery hoop don’t seat together nicely, they won’t evenly grip the fabric, which then causes your fabric to become loose in the hoop while you are embroidering.
What is a hooping station?
Hooping stations are a crucial embroidery tool that enables you to hoop fast and accurate. Essential for embroidery jobs where you must repeat the same location over and over again with precision. We sell HoopMaster stations for commercial machines and Durkee Hooping stations for both home and industrial machines.
What backing do I use for embroidery?
Basic cutaway backing is the most commonly used. It’s a wet-laid nonwoven backing, designed specifically for machine embroidery. Though available in several weights, I use the 2-oz. for most applications.
